🐍 Snake-ish — Privacy Policy

Snake-ish ("the App") is a mobile arcade game developed as a personal project. This policy explains what data we collect and why.

1. Data We Collect

The App collects only one piece of data from you:

• Your display name — the name you choose when you first launch the App.

This name is submitted to our cloud database (Google Firebase Firestore) solely to credit you if you are among the first three players worldwide to complete a level. It is displayed publicly on the in-game leaderboard for that level.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

• No real name, email address, or account credentials
• No device identifiers, advertising IDs, or hardware info
• No location data
• No analytics or usage tracking
• No payment information

3. How Your Name Is Stored

Your display name is stored in Google Firebase Firestore, hosted in the United States. Firebase's privacy practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy. The name is stored permanently as part of the level completion record and cannot be deleted once a leaderboard slot is claimed.

4. Children's Privacy

The App does not target children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

5. Changes to This Policy

If we change what data we collect, we will update this page and the effective date above.
